Who are we?

ICSEB is a care center for diseases of the spine and cerebral, whose different key factors are:  • Care Unit for the Spinal Cord and Brain, , in this unit all the elements of diagnosis and assistance tare used to carry out successful treatment and monitoring of the human nervous system.
• Multidisciplinary and Investigation Center where there are all specialties for the care of diseases of both the spinal cord and the brain. Creation of new concepts, protocols and treatments.
• Center of worldwide attention, has the elements and personnel needed to communicate and conduct diagnostic and therapeutic counseling, as well as long distance follow-ups of the applied therapies.

The Chiari & Syringomyelia & Scoliosis Institute of Barcelona (ICSEB) constitutes the tool care, made up of four operating divisions, which are:

Medical Assistance
The Chiari & Siringomielia & Escoliosis Institut of Barcelona (CSSIEB) is located on the Paseo Manuel Girona, 16 in the neighborhood of Pedralbes Barcelona, 08034, Catalonia, Spain. where all activities are conducted except some complementary examinations that are done in the Neurological Institute of Barcelona and other centers, and the surgery in the CIMA Clinic, located a few meters on the same Paseo Manuel Girona. The doctor´s visits are done with the collaboration of three professionals
Dr. Miguel B. Royo Salvador, Director. Neurosurgeon. Neurologist.
Dr. Marco Fiallos. Neurosurgeon.
Ms. Gioia Lue, BA in Clinical and Community Psychology. PhD in Clinical Psychiatry and Psychology at the UAB. Patient care.
And three instrumentalists who form part of the surgical team.

Carried out by our secretaries of different nationalities, covering ten different languages.

Reception and Administration
Consisting of qualified staff, in the languages most frequently used, Catalan, Castilian, French and English both in reception and administration.

Social Assistance
Those who work in the Chiari & Syringomyelia & Scoliosis Institut of Barcelona (CSSIB) take on the obligation to improve and consolidate it. At our jobs we work to develop our capacities and carry out an activity that we are proud of. Our first goal is to consider the health of the patients and the second is dedication to the concern of human beings, ensuring that our work reaches equally to all, obtaining resources from those who have, to help those who haven´t. Advising patients how to improve their health with the help of their economic and social means.
